Excellent treatment from the owners, we traveled with a 2 year old girl and they were very attentive to everything, to heat the bottle in the microwave, to provide us with a highchair for breakfast, extra bed, etc. room is spacious with a very comfortable bed, generally very clean, heating and hot water worked excellently and breakfast was correct: they offered us several pieces of toast with an assortment of tomato and oil, Iberian pâtés and butter and jam of various flavors, with the corresponding coffee/cola cocoa/infusion (it only needs a little orange juice to be "round"). All this for 4 euros, very nice place to repeat without hesitation.
Its location for tourism is excellent (within the walled area, close to the castle), this makes it difficult to access by car (stone streets and very narrow, also cut at Easter) and parking area is small, it fills up quickly. Otherwise, little can be "criticized", it has been a very good experience.

Romantic small hotel with great value, we had a great stay. The location was marvellous and good for walking around a medieval Moorish stone defense fortress. The area was fairly quiet close enough to Trujillo, and wonderful old town of Trujillo.

The Hotel was very very nice and very romantic. Liked everything about it!
It would be great to get some good instructions on how to get there. The streets are really narrow and confusing.

hotel is definitely short of stars. staff are charming, helpful, incredibly friendly, put you in a good mood which is what you need when you are relaxed and on holiday. structure is beautiful, an old house restructured maintaining the original details, rooms decorated with taste and style, it's very clean. It is a place where you can go in and disconnect, rest, go to the slow pace of the village (which in itself is very lively, not in a hurry). position is very central, next to the little square of Santiago, although to get there we go up a good slope I think it is possible to go by car to the door. Good breakfast with toast with jam or tomato, coffee with milk or tea. I would choose it again every time I pass by Trujillo without any doubt.
I liked absolutely everything

Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Close to the center, castle, church and a variety of bars. Great for exploring around during a two-week trip covering 2000km 🏰.

A lovely old building with cosy rooms and a shaded courtyard to enjoy the simple, but cheap, breakfast. Although I arrived very early the staff arranged for a quick early check in. The hotel is located in the old town, within easy walking distance of all the sights.
